Brevard Music Festival
The Brevard Music Festival takes in Brevard, North Carolina from late June to early August. The participants are required to pay for tuition, housing, and transportation (roughly $6,400), however there are various opportunities for scholarships and work study programs.The program has an aim towards training the next generation of classical musicians. The faculty consists of professors and principal musicians of established schools and orchestras throughout the country.
The application ($75) is due in the middle of February. It is required of percussionists to submit a video/audio recording as their audition.
