The Round Top Festival Institute is a six week summer festival that takes place in Round Top, Texas roughly around the month of July. It is tuition-free but requires participants to pay for transportation, housing ($750), and a registration fee ($250). The application ($80) is usually due in the middle of February.

The audition is done via audio and video submissions. The live audition takes place after admission and for ensemble placement. More information
